Hi, thanks for landing here! I’m Abby.

A little about me:

I'm originally from New York and Boston, but I traded snow boots for sandals when I moved to Florida and haven't looked back.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me trying a new group fitness class.

I'm the kind of person who will happily sign up for a heated workout...even when it's 90 degrees outside.

I love watching documentaries, but I’m also not above a Netflix dating show.

I’m a huge dog person. Any opportunity to meet or talk about dogs is a bonus.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in business. I eventually realized that helping people understand themselves, heal, and build more fulfilling lives was the work I felt most called to do.

I love food. Sometimes cooking it, but mostly eating it.

How clients experience me.

Many clients tell me they feel at ease in our sessions and are surprised by how comfortable they become talking about things they've kept to themselves for a long time.

People often share that they appreciate being able to move at their own pace without feeling rushed or pressured. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what's going on, even if you're not quite sure how to put it into words yet.

Clients frequently say that our conversations help them connect the dots between their past experiences, current relationships, and the patterns that keep showing up in their lives. Together, we make sense of those patterns with curiosity rather than criticism.

I aim to bring warmth, authenticity, and a little bit of humor into the therapy room when it feels appropriate. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to be yourself and supported enough to try something different.

The clients I work best with.

I work best with people who are:

I work best with clients who are curious about themselves and motivated to understand why they think, feel, and respond the way they do.

Many of my clients notice the same patterns showing up in their relationships, emotions, or behaviors, and are ready to explore how to create lasting change.

I especially enjoy working with people who tend to intellectualize their experiences but have difficulty connecting with and processing their emotions.

Many are chronic people pleasers who struggle with boundaries, self-worth, or prioritizing their own needs.

Together, we work to develop greater self-awareness, build a stronger connection between mind and body, and create healthier, more authentic ways of relating to themselves and others.

Those who are ready to show up authentically, embrace the process, and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

If you’re ready to move forward and want to get to the root, we’ll be a great fit.
