MODALITIES USED

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a highly effective, evidence-based form of talk therapy that focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It helps you identify unhelpful patterns in your thinking and learn practical strategies to respond to life’s challenges in healthier, more balanced ways.

CBT is structured, goal-oriented, and often short-term—making it a great fit for people who want to actively work on specific problems like anxiety, depression, stress, or negative self-talk.

DIALECTICAL BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a highly effective, skills-based form of therapy designed to help people manage overwhelming emotions, impulsive behaviors, and unstable relationships. It blends cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness and acceptance strategies to help you find balance and build a life worth living.

DBT is especially helpful for individuals who feel emotions more intensely than others and struggle to regulate them in healthy ways.

SOLUTION-FOCUSED BRIEF THERAPY

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a future-oriented, goal-directed approach to therapy that helps you focus on what’s working—not just what’s wrong. Rather than digging deeply into past problems, SFBT helps you build on your strengths, uncover practical solutions, and take small, meaningful steps toward the life you want.

This approach is ideal if you're looking for short-term, effective support that helps you move forward with clarity and confidence.

ACCEPTANCE & COMMITMENT THERAPY

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps you stop fighting your thoughts and feelings—and start living a life that truly matters to you. Instead of trying to “fix” or eliminate uncomfortable emotions, ACT teaches you how to accept them, create space for them, and take committed action in line with your values.

The goal of ACT isn’t to feel better all the time—it’s to live better, even in the presence of difficult emotions.

TRUMA FOCUSED COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (TF-CBT)

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a specially designed, evidence-based treatment for children, teens, and adults who have experienced traumatic events. It helps individuals process what happened, manage trauma-related emotions, and build healthy coping skills—all within a safe, structured, and compassionate therapeutic environment.

TF-CBT combines the tools of traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a trauma-sensitive approach that promotes healing, empowerment, and emotional resilience.

PERSON CENTERED THERAPY

Person-Centered Therapy (also known as Client-Centered Therapy) is a humanistic approach to counseling that emphasizes your innate capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding. Developed by psychologist Carl Rogers, this approach creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard, accepted, and supported—exactly as you are.

The foundation of person-centered therapy is a genuine therapeutic relationship built on empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. You are seen as the expert in your own life, and the therapist acts as a compassionate guide—not an authority.
