Do You Feel Like You're in Conflict—with Others or YoURSELF?

Living with a personality disorder can feel confusing, isolating, and overwhelming. You may find yourself stuck in the same patterns, struggling with intense emotions, unstable relationships, or a deep sense of emptiness or insecurity.

Common Symptoms of Personality Disorders

While symptoms vary by diagnosis, many people experience:

  1. Intense, unstable emotions or mood swings
  2. Fear of abandonment or rejection
  3. Difficulty trusting others or feeling misunderstood
  4. Unstable self-image or sense of identity
  5. Black-and-white (“all-or-nothing”) thinking
  6. Impulsive or self-destructive behaviors
  7. Trouble maintaining close relationships
  8. Chronic feelings of emptiness or anger

You may feel like no one “gets it,” or like your emotions and reactions are “too much.” But with the right support, meaningful change is possible.

Our Therapeutic Approach

We offer a nonjudgmental, trauma-informed approach that focuses on safety, self-awareness, and lasting change. We work with several types of personality disorders, including Borderline, Avoidant, Narcissistic, Dependent, and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorders, among others.

Therapy may include:

  1. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Builds emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness skills
  2. Schema Therapy – Identifies and heals long-standing negative beliefs and life patterns
  3. Psychodynamic Therapy – Helps uncover and shift unconscious patterns rooted in early experiences
  4. Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) – Enhances the ability to understand your own and others' thoughts and feelings
  5. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Challenges black-and-white thinking and builds new, healthier perspectives

We believe that personality is not a life sentence—it’s a starting point for deeper understanding and growth.

What Healing Looks Like

With time and commitment, clients begin to experience:

  1. Increased emotional stability and fewer mood swings
  2. Healthier, more satisfying relationships
  3. A stronger, more consistent sense of self
  4. The ability to pause and choose responses instead of reacting automatically
  5. Greater self-acceptance and less shame
  6. Practical tools for managing stress, boundaries, and everyday life

You don’t have to keep repeating the same painful patterns. Therapy gives you the insight and skills to create lasting change.

You Are Not Your Diagnosis. You Are Worth Healing

It’s possible to move from chaos to clarity, from confusion to confidence. Counseling provides a safe space to untangle what feels overwhelming and to begin building the life and relationships you want.

Your past doesn’t define you—your healing begins now.
